Pree is a compassionate psychologist dedicated to empowering individuals with diverse neurocognitive profiles. Her practice is rooted in a neuro-affirming paradigm, cultivating spaces where clients feel understood, valued, and supported. By celebrating unique ways of thinking and learning, Pree shifts the focus from perceived differences to inherent strengths, offering individualised support for children, adolescents, and adults navigating neurodivergence and trauma. Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices, thoughtfully adapted to neurodivergent experiences. Beyond traditional Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Pree utilises Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help individuals build psychological flexibility and commit to values-driven actions, especially in a neurotypical-centric world. Her therapeutic approach is adapted for neurodivergence, focusing on emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness with modifications for communication styles and sensory needs. Recognising the higher prevalence of trauma in neurodivergent populations, Pree applies Trauma-Informed Care, creating safe and predictable therapeutic environments. She incorporates Interoception-Based Practices to help individuals understand their internal bodily signals and offers Neurodiversity-Affirming Social Communication/Interaction Support to foster authentic connections. Additionally, Pree provides practical strategies for organisation, planning, and time management that respect individual processing styles.
Pree empowers individuals to build confidence, skills, and positive mindsets, fostering self-determination and authentic self-expression. To holistically understand client needs, Pree integrates comprehensive assessments, including evaluations for autism, ADHD, cognitive profiles, functional capacities, and behavioural patterns. These assessments collaboratively inform personalised intervention plans that amplify strengths and cultivate resilience. Pree emphasises collaboration, working closely with clients and their families to co-create supportive environments that foster growth. By equipping parents with neuro-affirming knowledge and tools, she empowers them to understand and excel their child’s unique needs. This collaborative partnership leads to enhanced outcomes and a deeper sense of well-being. Ultimately, Pree’s work is driven by a profound belief in the inherent potential of all individuals, reflecting a commitment to empowering clients to live fulfilling, authentic lives.
